RIP Andy Gabrielson

We are saddened to report the loss of fellow chaser, Andy Gabrielson in an Oklahoma traffic accident this afternoon. He was 24, a chaser of six years, and owner of the chasing website www.findthetornado.com. Most of all, he was a proud father of a 3-year old daughter.  He will be deeply missed by the storm chasing and weather community and our prayers and thoughts go out to the Gabrielson family and all of his friends.

Iowastorms Under New Management

Dear Friends,

As many of you already know, the iowastorms.com website will not be closing. I have taken ownership of the site and will have Josh continue as a moderator.

I would personally like to thank our founding father, Kenny, for creating the site and building the community up to what it is today. If you get a chance, please send thanks his way through the shoutbox or forums. Without him, none of us would be here.

If you have any suggestions for the site, please feel free to send me an email. I look forward to continuing to build the site and community, while holding the high standards that Kenny has set.

Thanks,

Ryan
