Sunday, 10 May 2015 09:12 Admin RyanL Time to start heading that way. Looking like it's going to be an early day. Good luck to everybody that ventures out!
Sunday, 10 May 2015 08:22 Admin RyanL Probably going to shoot for somewhere between Sioux City and Omaha to start things off. CAPE is going to be limited today and that looks to be where the highest values are around 18z.
Sunday, 10 May 2015 08:11 firemancvfd Gotta love the backyard chases. Lol. A lot of times i only go towards Omaha and chase back towards home. I try to stay within an hour to hour and half from home. Be safe to all out chasing.
Sunday, 10 May 2015 08:04 ZachGrove @Firemancvfd Back yard chase for you :) hope everyone stays safe out there.
Sunday, 10 May 2015 07:43 firemancvfd Rlehms....did you choose your target area yet? I see on fb that Josh is targeting Mapleton.
Sunday, 10 May 2015 07:41 firemancvfd @zach. I live near Atlantic so i am a little closer to the beginning action. I will probably wait and see what things look like in couple hours. Meanwhile get search and rescue stuff reloaded into my truck. Lol. Never know if i may need it.
Sunday, 10 May 2015 07:23 ZachGrove @firemancvfd I agree, looks like greatest tor potential will be north west Iowa. I have heard most talk about souix city as a target location. I personally do not want to play this. Prob head to des moines here in the later morning and look at forcasts when I get there.
Sunday, 10 May 2015 07:15 firemancvfd I cant decide on a target yet. Coffee isnt working fast enough. Lol.
Sunday, 10 May 2015 00:30 CRStormChase Had a great time in Eastern Colorado Saturday https://youtu.be/R4TBYepTbr8
Saturday, 09 May 2015 11:43 ZachGrove I will be out chasing as well. Have not looked at specifics yet but latest forecast discussion from dmx sounds good for late afternoon severe weather in central Iowa. Will have to check forcasts in the morn. Stay safe everyone.
Saturday, 09 May 2015 07:03 firemancvfd I will be out chasing also Ryan. Be safe.
Friday, 08 May 2015 12:55 rrlehms It all depends on the location of the low and the warm front. I'll likely be chasing Sunday.
Friday, 08 May 2015 09:29 jbissell Based on the SPC website, Im not really seeing a major severe weather event on Sunday. Please correct me if Im wrong.
